Dr. Charles ‘Chuck’ Plishka is a founding member of the Vestibular Special Interest Group of World Physiotherapy. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1999. He is a board-certified clinical specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy. He holds a certification in vestibular rehabilitation from the American Association of Physical Therapy (APTA) and Emory University. Educating other medical professionals about vestibular rehab has been a key part of his career, teaching continuing education and giving in-services to hospitals, as well as authoring the textbook, ‘A Clinician’s Guide to Balance and Dizziness.’ He speaks internationally on vestibular topics and has over 26 years of experience in vestibular and balance therapy.
